本研究は、企業が保有する有価証券の評価に関連する次の2つの問題をとりあげて実証分析を加え、それぞれの結論を導出した。第1の問題は、取得原価主義に基づく発生主義利益で測定した企業業績と株価変動の間に実証的な関連性が存在することを所与としても、有価証券の時価情報は、株価変動との間で追加的な関連制を有するかというものである。この調査のため[(株価変化率)=a+b(原価主義利益情報)+c(時価情報)]というクロスセクション重回帰分析を行い、パラメータcが統計的に有意な値になることを明らかにし、原価主義利益情報を所与としても、時価情報が企業ごとの株価変化率との間で、追加的な関連性をもつことを証拠づけた。この結果に基づき、有価証券の時価評価情報の補足的提供が投資者の意思決定を促進するのに役立つという結論を導出した。第2の問題は、企業は有価証券の評価基準として、原価基準と低価基準のいずれかを任意に選択できるため、いずれの方法を採用したかにより、1株当り利益額が相違するが、証券市場はこのような会計方針の差異を調整したうえで株価形成を行っているかというものである。とくに低価法を強制されている銀行業界が、1992年9月中間期に関して大蔵省の特例措置により評価減を見送って1株当り利益額の水準を維持したことに対して、証券市場での株価形成はどうであったかに注目した。株価収益率を尺度として、クロスセクション重回帰を行ったところ、評価損の見送り額が相対的に大きい銀行ほど、株価もよりいっそう低く形成されていることが判明したが、これは市場が会計方法の相違に起因する報告利益の品質差を賢明に識別していることを意味するものである。

This study is aimed at analyzing the relationship between corporate ownership and securities evaluation. The first problem is to determine the relationship between the performance of the enterprise and the change of the company. The investigation results show that [(plant transformation rate)=a+b(fundamentalist interest information)+c(time information)], the original transformation rate of the enterprise, and the correlation between the original transformation rate and the enterprise are analyzed. The results are based on the information provided by the timely evaluation of securities, which promotes the rational decision-making of investors and leads to conclusions. The second problem is that the enterprise has the right to evaluate the benchmark of securities, the original benchmark and the low benchmark, and the method of adopting the benchmark, the profit amount of a stock is inconsistent, and the securities market adjusts the difference of accounting policies. In September 1992, the banking industry was forced to reduce the amount of interest in the stock market. The measurement of the profitability of the company is based on the analysis of the impact of the market on the quality of the reported profits.
