Inthe case of improving landscape, It is thought that the better process that imagining the visualized concepts for improving landscape, and using the methods creating the reality form, as became the imagery of landscape. Now, Though we have clear the methods ofimproving landscape, have not the process and the relationship yet.The purpose of this study is to clearify from five points of view to the relationship of the imagine, visualized concept and the method in 70 case of Japanese improving landscape. 1)The relation between the development of imagery and the creating improvement form. 2)The relation between the image of visualized concepts and the target of designed improving landscape. 3)The special feature of the methods for improvement in shopping streets and relationship of imagery. 4)The special feature of the Partnership in improving landscape and relationship . 5)The effects and The special feature of catalyst in the process of improving townscape.As the result, following things were obtained. 1)It was claer grasp of imagery that planner and designer considering and confirmed relationship in Japanese improving landscape. 2)It was found the the method of deveropment of imagery and the creating improvement form. 3)The relation had characteristi cmethods of improvemnt by each type of imagery and development of image affects the improving landscape. 4)It was confirmed that the effect of spread by catalyst in improving landscape, and the process of the form of townccape. For the purpose of causing a effect, it is important to improve with trancemitting a effect of improvement consider.

在景观改善方面，认为将景观改善的形象化概念想象出来，并运用创造现实形式的方法，成为景观的意象，是一个较好的过程。目前，虽然我们已经明确了景观改善的方法，但还没有明确景观改善的过程及其相互关系，本研究的目的是从五个角度对70个日本景观改善案例中的想象、形象化概念与方法之间的关系进行明确。1)意象的发展与创作改进形式的关系。2)形象概念的形象化与景观改善设计目标的关系。3)商业街改善方法的特色与意象的关系。4)伙伴关系在改善景观和关系方面的特点。5)研究了催化剂在城市景观改善过程中的作用和特点。1）日本改良景观中规划设计者对意象的把握更为清晰，并在此基础上进一步明确了两者之间的关系。（2）找到了意象发展的方法和创造性的改进形式。3)每一种意象的改善方式都有其特点，意象的发展影响着景观的改善。4）证实了催化剂传播对景观改善的作用，以及城镇景观的形成过程。为了产生效果，重要的是要考虑改善的效果。
