The objective of the present study was to elucidate the recognition of premature infants among their mothers and changes in this recognition during hospitalization in the NICU and after discharge. This study investigated the recognition of children among mothers who had become pregnant following fertility treatment and given birth prematurely. Furthermore, this study examined nursing assistance that promotes the development of the mother child relationship. Semi-structured interviews were conducted on four mothers of premature infants, and interview contents were qualitatively analyzed.Mothers of premature infants continued to have concerns about the fragility and developmental prognosis of their children following discharge. At the same time, mothers felt happy about the fact that they were able to live with their children as well as the release from the stress they had been experiencing during hospitalization, and the opportunity to live together enabled them to realize the child' s growth. In addition, mothers gained the recognition of themselves as mothers.

本研究的目的是阐明母亲对早产儿的认识，以及在新生儿重症监护病房住院期间和出院后这种认识的变化。这项研究调查了在生育治疗后怀孕和早产的母亲对孩子的认识。此外，本研究探讨护理协助促进母子关系的发展。对4位早产儿母亲进行半结构化访谈，并对访谈内容进行定性分析。早产婴儿的母亲仍然担心他们的孩子在出院后的脆弱性和发育预后。与此同时，母亲们也很高兴能够和孩子一起生活，从住院期间所经历的压力中解脱出来，一起生活的机会使她们能够实现孩子的成长。此外，母亲们获得了对自己作为母亲的认可。
