本研究では, ユーラシア大陸極東域(韓国, 中国雲南省, ミャンマー, タイ, ラオス, ベトナム)における古生代末一中生代初期に起こった微小大陸衝突帯の正確な分布を明らかにし, そこでの変成・火成作用を含む深部地質現象を解析した. 各地で見出された大陸衝突境界から超高温変成岩類, 超高圧変成岩類を発見し, 精密な岩石学的解析と年代測定を実施して, ベトナム縦貫造山帯の提唱など, アジアにおける衝突型造山帯に実体を明らかにした. 4年間の公表論文数は31件である.

This paper deals with the accurate distribution of microcontinental conflicts, including deep geological phenomena, from the end of Paleozoic to the beginning of Mesozoic in the extreme eastern region of the continent (Korea, China, Yunnan Province). The continental conflict boundary, ultra-high temperature diagenesis and ultra-high pressure diagenesis have been found everywhere. The analysis and dating of precise petrology have been carried out. The number of public papers in 4 years is 31.
