落下する溶融金属ジェットへの高周波磁場の間欠印加により、粒径の均一な金属球を連続的かつ高速に製造する方法を考案し、溶融Gaを用いたモデル実験によって、磁場の最適印加条件を検討した。その結果、磁場の間欠印加周波数を液ジェットの優先擾乱周波数と一致させることによって、均一な粒径を有する液滴群が得られることを明らかにした。
