The International symposium about the setting of numerical targets in microbiological risk management, investigation on how the experts in Zoonoses get information, summing up the international trends in risk governance regarding the nanotechnology and in traceability in food chain, and investigation on the food safety ordinances in the prefectures were done. The cross national study on the food related risk perceptions, the psychological experiments on the remembrance of the sources of information, the study on the consumer evaluation of food were conducted. The producing of the framework of social responsibilities in food business, summing up the international trend of the studies on corporate social responsibility, and the case study on profession of food safety/public health and on ethical relationship between producers and consumers were conducted.
