Archaeological excavation survey was implemented on foundation and surrounding area of the Southern Library, outside of the southeastern section of the Outer Gallery and the Central Tower of Bayon Temple and ceramic wares unearthed from there are organized. As main productions, first, it is appropriate to understand that the inner laterite structures that had been detected from foundation of the Southern Library of Bayon are not ancient structure but related with existing internal structures. Second, it is assumed likely that the Southern Library was used after its construction even during the change in its religious orientation and after the Bayon period and during the Post-Angkor period.

在南图书馆的基础和周边地区，外画廊东南段和巴戎寺中央塔之外进行了考古发掘调查，并组织了在那里出土的陶瓷。作为主要成果，首先，从巴戎南图书馆地基上检测到的红土内部结构应该理解为不是古代结构，而是与现有的内部结构有关。其次，据推测，南方图书馆在建成后甚至在其宗教取向改变期间，在巴戎时期之后和后吴哥时期，都可能被使用。
