In this research, the settlements of Japan and South Korea in Yayoi-Kofun period were considered from the viewpoint of the settlement structure, and the final report(650 pages) was published. The Aspect of the Japan and South Korean settlements enclosed by round ditches, of the villages near sea and the visitor settlements in the international exchange harbors of Japan and South Korea were disclosed. Chief` s house of Japan and the Chief` s houses of were also compared, and the analysis of the South Korean settlements by Japanese researcher and the analysis of Japanese settlements by South Korean researcher were conducted. In addition, the ruins of metal goods production and the horse keeper group's settlements both areas were made clear. The teamwork and combination of researchers working on the settlements were deepened as a whole and the settlement research of both areas in Yayoi to Kofun period have been activated.

本研究从聚落结构的角度考察了弥生古坟时期的日本和韩国聚落，并发表了最终报告（650页）。揭示了日本和韩国在圆沟中的聚落、日本和韩国在国际交流港中的那些村庄和游客聚落的面貌。对日本的酋长住宅和韩国的酋长住宅进行了比较，并对日本研究者对韩国定居点的分析和韩国研究者对日本定居点的分析进行了分析。此外，金属制品生产的遗迹和牧马人群体的定居点这两个领域都被明确。研究聚落的研究人员的团队合作和联合作为一个整体得到了深化，并且在弥生古坟时期的两个地区的聚落研究已经启动。
