2022年度は特にブリュージュのアドルネス一族礼拝堂、通称エルサレム礼拝堂に焦点をあて、絵画・彫刻・建築装飾などの〈オブジェクト〉と、儀礼における信者の動作や光・香の動きなどの〈ムーブメント〉をとおし、本聖堂において神聖空間が創り出されているシステムを分析した。1）巡礼に関わる史料の精査：本聖堂の抜本的改修のきっかけとなった、アンセルム・アドルネスとヤン・アドルネスが1470－71年に行ったローマ・エルサレム巡礼に関わる史料を精査し、彼らがエルサレムで実際に目にしたもの、あるいは彼らのエルサレムにおける〈記憶〉を再構築した。2）エルサレム礼拝堂の分析：1480年頃に改修を終えたエルサレム礼拝堂の内部構造を、聖堂のプランや目録をもとに分析した。先行研究において、同礼拝堂はエルサレムへの霊的巡礼（祈祷や瞑想などの宗教的実践をとおして、身体的巡礼と等価の恩寵を得ることが出来る「心の巡礼」をさす）を行うための空間ととらえられるが、その空間を創り出す様々な要素を分析することで、本礼拝堂が帯びるその他の機能を明らかにすることを目的とした。3）エルサレム礼拝堂の絵画作品への影響：エルサレム礼拝堂は1480年以降、ブリュージュのランドマーク的存在となり、多くの訪問者、巡礼者を引き付けた。絵画作品の都市景観にその外観が描かれている作例は、先行研究でも指摘されてきたが、礼拝堂の内部に据えられた「ゴルゴタの丘」を表した祭壇衝立が、絵画作品に与えた影響については等閑視されてきた。本研究では、「ゴルゴタの丘」祭壇衝立の影響が認められる具体的作品として、ヒエロニムス・ボス作《東方三博士の礼拝》三連画（1494年頃）の閉翼時場面「グレゴリウスのミサ」を指摘し、図像分析と図像源泉の特定を試みるとともに、注文主とアドルネス一族の接点も解明した。
