本研究の目的は、教育アカデミー側のみではなく、現職教員側にも着目しながら、教育アカデミーにおける教育実習の実態を解明することである。こうした目的を達成するために、必要な作業として、今年度は教育アカデミー以前に国民学校教員養成を担っていた教員養成所がどのような教育実習を実施していたのかを明らかにすることと、教育アカデミーがどのような経緯で現職教員との関わりが強くなる学外実習を導入したのかを解明することの二つに取り組んだ。本研究の取っ掛かりとして、2023年2月11日から3月2日までドイツに滞在し、教員養成所、教育アカデミーの教育実習に関する史料の調査および収集を行った。具体的には、ニーダーザクセン州立文書館ハノーファー支部、ゲッティンゲン大学文書館、チューリンゲン州立文書館ゴータ館、ブランデンブルク州立文書館、プロイセン文化財団枢密文書館、ハンブルク州立文書館、ヘッセン州立文書館マールブルク館、フランクフルト市史研究所文書館を訪問した。さらに、ベルリン州立図書館、フンボルト大学図書館等を訪問し、先行研究となる文献の調査および収集をした。特に、ニーダーザクセン州立文書館ハノーファー支部、ゲッティンゲン大学文書館では、アルトナ教育アカデミーやハノーファー教育アカデミーが学外実習を取り入れようとした背景や、学外実習の実施に向けて県の教育局と綿密な交渉をしていたことが明らかとなる史料を入手することができた。さらに、ヘッセン州立文書館マールブルク館では、教員養成所が教育実習の際に用いていた実習校に関わる史料を見つけることができた。現在、これらの文書館で入手した史料を読み進めている。
