本研究の実施にあたり、文献検索及び検討を行った。テクノロジー、ケアリング、理学療法士のキーワードで検索した10文献を選択し検討をおこなった。理学療法においても、理学療法士が行うケアリングの行動が、患者のリハビリテーションに対する参加度やモチベーションの向上につながっているという知見を得られた。また、この結果を受けて、理学療法士と患者との相互作用が、患者の機能回復に大きな役割を占めている知見を得られ、多職種連携の観点からも、看護師と理学療法士とがケアリング理論を共有し患者により良いケアを提供する必要性があると考えられた。この結果を「4th International Conference On Technological Competency Caring In Nursing and Health Sciences 2022」において、『The issues to develop a caring education program for physical therapists based on the theory of Technological Competency as Caring in Nursing: Literature review』と題してポスターセッションで発表した。この文献検討の結果を基に、理学療法士とケアリング。特にTechnological Competency as Caring in Nursing理論を用いた教育プログラムを作成し実践することができれば、理学療法士と患者との相互作用の中で、より患者のことを全人的理解した理学療法を提供できることが期待でき、患者の機能回復へ貢献できると考えられた。そして、この成果が理学療法士と看護師以外の他職種連携をより発展できる可能性が示唆された。
