本研究の目的は、認知症ケアにおける看護師の困難感を手がかりとした認知症ケアワークシートの使用による看護師の認知症ケアに対する困難感と認知症ケア実践への影響を評価することである。使用する認知症ケアワークシートは、研究代表者の先行研究によって開発され、2021年度に専門家会議により内容の妥当性を検討し、実践適応により看護師の認識への有効性が検討されたものである。研究デザインは混合型研究法である。対象施設は認知症を有する人が身体疾患等認知症の治療以外を目的に入院する一般病棟を有する病院とし、2施設以上とする。研究対象者は看護師30名程度とする。データ収集は、認知症ケアワークシートの使用前後に行う。認知症ケアワークシートを使用したことによる実践への影響を質的（インタビュー）、量的（尺度）に評価する。尺度は看護実践に対する自己評価に関する尺度と、認知症ケアに対する困難感に関する尺度を用いる。本年度の実績は以下のとおりである。2022年8月、質的研究に精通した老年看護学領域の研究者、量的研究に精通した基礎看護学領域の研究者の協力を得て、研究チームを組織した。2022年10月、再度文献検討を行い、研究チームで質的研究、量的研究の両側面から研究計画について検討し、より具体的な研究計画書を作成した。2023年1月研究代表者の所属施設の倫理審査委員会の承認を得た。複数の施設への研究協力依頼を開始しているが、いまだ同意を得られた施設はない。
