A study of the reduplicated verbs taught by Panini

本研究的目的是阐明构成P.ini语法的语言事实。我比较了重叠的动词，特别是令人向往的动词，通过应用他的语法规则而形成的，与吠陀文献中证明的形式。这本书展示了他在建立重叠动词的语法规则时所看到的吠陀的语言特点。这些发现有力地表明，P.ini教授的标准语言主要是从Br.hma.a文本发展而来的。

The aim of the study is to elucidate the linguistic facts of which P..ini's grammar is composed. I compared reduplicated verbs, particularly desiderative verbs, formed by the application of his gramatical rules with forms attested in the Vedic texts. The sutdy demonstrated the linguistic peculiarities of Veda he had in his eye in establishing the grammtical rules on reduplicated verbs. The findings strongly suggest that the standard language taught by P..ini is developped chiefly from that of Br.hma.a texts.
