The aim of the study is to elucidate the linguistic facts of which P..ini's grammar is composed. I compared reduplicated verbs, particularly desiderative verbs, formed by the application of his gramatical rules with forms attested in the Vedic texts. The sutdy demonstrated the linguistic peculiarities of Veda he had in his eye in establishing the grammtical rules on reduplicated verbs. The findings strongly suggest that the standard language taught by P..ini is developped chiefly from that of Br.hma.a texts.

本研究的目的是阐明P。ini的语法是组成的。我比较了重叠动词，特别是欲望动词，形成了他的语法规则的应用形式证明在吠陀文本。这一研究表明了他在建立动词重叠语法规则方面所具有的《吠陀》语言学的独特性。研究结果强烈表明，标准的语言教P。ini主要是从Br.hma.a文本中发展而来的。
