本年度は、研究目的の児童虐待の重症度判定に職種による役割や専門性の違いや特徴を明らかにするために、A児童相談所が過去5年間(2004年度～2008年度)に児童虐待相談として受理した852事例のうち、最初の受理票を使用した661事例についてデータ化した。そのデータを用いて、研究実施計画1)児童相談所の児童福祉司が児童虐待の重症度判定する際に重要視した項目について、統計的に分析を行った。その結果、児童福祉司が児童虐待の重症度を判定する際に、世帯の経済状況や保護者の就労状況が影響していることが明らかとなった。次に、児童福祉司に、児童虐待の重症度を判定する際に、どのようなことを重視しているのか、インタビュー調査を行った。計画としてインタビューは、児童福祉司5名に実施予定であったが、本年度は1名のみの実施であった。本年度に計画していた同一事例を用いて児童福祉誌と保健師の職種間の違いや特徴をみるためのビネット調査は、研究指導者および協力者ともに、調査で用いる事例の信頼性の検討および調査対象となる児童福祉司や保健師の選定を行うにとどまった。
