The research group and Management Science Institute made the 2^<nd> IT Management Effectiveness Survey from 09/2002 to 1112002 in order to clarify the organizational management, operation and performance affected by the IT investment. Here The IT planning section of Japanese enterprises with more than 600 employees were surveyed using 470 questionnaires including their face information and the 415 enterprises responded. The research group additionally and independently conducted the sampling survey to small and medium enterprises in 1112002 to get ?6 responses. The data linkage was made between these data and the corresponding financial data from the Tokyo Syoko Research Data Base to make econometric researches as production function analyses. Two special surveys were further conducted to financial industry and pharmaceutical industry in 2003. Several quantitative analyses were planned and executed from these data as follows1) Cobb-Douglas and trans-log production function was estimated using the information, on the IT investment to reject so called IT paradox in Japan2) Causal analysis was conducted among "Top Management Awareness", "Linkage between IT and Management", "IT Development Capability", "IT investment and Deployment", "IT Readiness" and "Business Value Creation from IT" using Graphical modeling and a new performance measure, named "IT Management Effectiveness" was developed

研究小组与管理科学研究所<nd>于2002年9月至2002年11月进行了第二次IT管理有效性调查，以明确IT投资对组织管理、运营和绩效的影响。在此，以日本企业的IT企划部门为对象，对600人以上的415家企业进行了问卷调查。课题组于2002年111月另外独立对中小企业进行了抽样调查，得出：6个答案。将这些数据与东京统计研究数据库中的相应财务数据进行数据连接，进行生产函数分析等计量经济学研究。2003年又对金融业和医药行业进行了两次专项调查。根据这些数据，进行了以下几个定量分析：1）利用这些信息，对IT投资进行了Cobb-Douglas和translog生产函数的估计，以排除日本所谓的IT悖论2）对“高层管理者意识”、“IT与管理的联系”、“IT开发能力”、“IT投资与部署”、“IT投资与管理的关系”进行了因果分析。使用图形建模的“IT就绪性”和“IT创造业务价值”以及名为“IT管理有效性”的新绩效衡量标准已开发出来
