项目摘要
物質優勢宇宙創成の謎への挑戦を行うため、巨大液体アルゴン三次元飛跡検出装置(LAr-TPC)を用いた Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment (DUNE) が始動した。DUNEでは 1)1,300km以上の長基線、2)水相当3,000m以上の大深度地下に設置される25kt以上のLAr-TPC、3)1MW以上の出力を持つ大強度陽子加速器により生成される大強度ニュートリノビーム、4)生成直後のニュートリノの素性を把握するための前置測定装置、5)加速器ビームによる性能実証機能・較正機能を備えた 1kt LAr-TPC、を用意し、長基線ニュートリノ研究(レプトンのCP対称性の破れの探索とニュートリノ質量階層性の決定)と陽子崩壊現象探索研究を行う。本研究では、1kt LAr-TPC の実現及び性能実証により、長基線ニュートリノ研究と陽子崩壊探索の信頼性をゆるぎなきものとすることを目的としている。これまでに、電離電子信号読み出し電極、電離電子信号用エレクトロニクス、光検出装置について、試作、最終仕様決定がなされ、各々、必要量の作成と個別性能確認が行われ、測定装置組み込み前統合試験を経て、1kt LAr-TPC への組み込みが行われた。組み込み後には、1kt LAr-TPC 全体システムの統合試験、宇宙線を使用した動作試験が開始されている。1kt LAr-TPC 測定装置を長期安定稼働するうえで不可欠な高電圧印加装置の放電不安定性除去を目的とした測定装置再調整も実施され、加速器・宇宙線による測定装置性能評価が行われている。
The Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment (DUNE) was launched with the help of the Material Dominance Universe Creation Mystery and the Giant Liquid Array Three-Dimensional Flying Trace Detection Device (LAr-TPC). DUNE: 1) Long baseline above 1,300 km; 2) Lar-TPC above 25kt installed at depth above 3,000 m; 3) High-intensity positron accelerator with output above 1MW; 4) Pre-measurement device for determining the prime property of direct generation; 5) Accelerator performance verification function·correction function: preparation of 1kt LAr-TPC, intention, long baseline research (exploration of CP symmetry and quality hierarchy determination). This study aims to investigate the performance and performance of 1kt LAr-TPC and to explore the reliability of solar cells.
