Ryukyu and the Okinawa literary researches are important also for research of Japanese culture.In this research, the data of various fields, such as record of not only literary data but a drifting ship, data of the product study of the Edo period, and data of a Chinese poetry sentence, were observed.It is necessary to investigate the data which remained in places other than Okinawa Prefecture especially.Then, it investigated about record of the Shikoku district or the Kyushu district, the publication of the Edo period currently called "Ryukyu mono", etc.In addition to investigation of the original, the microfilm which National Institute of Japanese Literature keeps was also used, and data was accumulated also about the data of a larger area.These data was arranged and the whereabouts, bibliographic data, and a bibliographical note were created about 271sorts of Ryukyu data. Moreover, it inquired about many problems of the Muromachi tale relevant to the Ryukyu folktale etc.

琉球和冲绳文学研究对于日本文化研究也是重要的。在本研究中，观察了各个领域的数据，例如不仅是文学数据，而且是漂流船的记录，江户时代的产品研究数据，以及中国诗歌句子的数据。特别是有必要调查冲绳县以外的地方。然后，它调查了四国地区或九州地区的记录，江户时代的出版物，现在被称为“琉球mono”，等等。除了调查原件外，还使用了日本文学研究所保存的微缩胶片，并积累了关于更大范围的数据。这些数据被整理和下落，书目数据，并建立了约271种琉球数据的书目注释。并对室町故事与琉球民间故事相关的诸多问题进行了探讨。
