英文摘要
This research project consists of the following three themes :1) Shape Measurement of the Skull by Stereo ImagesWe developed an experimental device to measure shape of the skull using stereo vision technique, and evaluated the effectiveness of the method for use in surgery using the device. It was found that the method gave results accurate enough to meet the requirements, but simpler measurement process and shorter processing time were desired. We are planning to improve these defects as the next step.2) 3D measurement by X-ray stereo images :This theme aimed at establishing an easy and inexpensive method whereby 3D positions in a human body were measured by applying stereo vision technique to X-ray images. We have developed the reference object, which is a box shape wire frame and gives X-ray source positions and a reference coordinate for measurements. Using the reference object, 3D positions could be measured with enough accuracy. We have submitted patents of the method.3) Skin Color Measurement Using Digital Color CameraWe have developed a method to measure colors quantitatively by an inexpensive digital camera. The point of this research theme is to have developed a means to cancel color correction process that an ordinary camera has. Relating this theme, we submitted several patents regarding color filter constructions for multi-spectral cameras.
