本研究は、モンゴル国セレンゲ県タルバガタイン・アム上部旧石器時代前期遺跡の発掘調査を柱として実施する。4年間の発掘調査を通じて、（1）遺跡の高精度居住年代決定、（2）遺跡内の居住・狩猟行動の復元を実施する。また、モンゴルとシベリアの他遺跡との比較から、（3）地域における道具使用行動、資源環境との関係、行動パターンの通時的変化を明らかにする。さらに、北アジアの他地域との比較から、（4）他地域との文化接触・融合関係の評価を実施したうえで、（5）モンゴル北部の通時的人間行動変化とその理由を推測し、（6）北アジアの上部旧石器時代初期から前期への行動的・遺伝的変化を整合的に説明する変遷モデルを構築する。2022年度は以下の通り研究を実施した。（A）タルバガタイン・アム遺跡の発掘調査：過年度の試掘調査結果に基づき発掘調査区を設定し、調査を開始した。本年度は、計画通り深さ70cmまで精査をおこなった。また、ドローンマッピングによる遺跡周辺の詳細地形測量を行った。（B）遺跡の居住年代の決定：出土した炭化物や骨試料を全て回収し、年代測定供試料の出土コンテクストなどについて整理した。（C）遺跡内の居住・狩猟行動の復元：出土遺物およびその空間分布データの取得を行った。（D）モンゴル・トランスバイカル地域における季節的行動パターンの復元：主に情報収集と既存データの整理を行った。（E）他地域との文化接触・融合関係の評価：今年度に計画していた中国の資料分析は、COVIDパンデミックに伴う入国制限によりいまだ不可能のため、次年度以降に予定していた韓国での資料調査を前倒ししておこなった。（F）モンゴル北部の上部旧石器時代初期から前期への人間行動変化とその理由の推測：精密な研究モデルの構築のため、関連する研究の文献調査に着手した。（G）モンゴル後期更新世化石データベースの作成に着手した。

This study is aimed at exploring the early Paleolithic remains of the Upper Paleolithic in China. 4 years of exploration and investigation,(1) high-precision determination of the residence age of the site,(2) implementation of the restoration of the residence and hunting activities in the site (3) Changes in the use of property, the relationship between resources and the environment, and the communication time of activities. (4) Evaluation of cultural contact and integration between other regions;(5) Presumption of reasons for the change of human behavior during the period of communication in the North;(6) Explanation of the change of cultural heritage from the early Upper Paleolithic to the early Paleolithic in the North. In 2022, the following research was carried out. (A) Exploration and investigation of historical sites: the basic exploration and investigation area shall be set and the investigation shall be started according to the test and investigation results of the past year. This year, we plan to conduct a thorough investigation on the depth of 70cm. A detailed topographic survey of the site's circumference. (B) Determination of the age of residence of the relics: complete recovery of the unearthed carbonized materials and bone samples, and preparation of the unearthed materials for dating. (C) Restoration of residence and hunting activities in relics: spatial distribution of unearthed relics and acquisition of hunting activities. (D) Recovery of actions during the lost season in theンル·ンスイルarea: main information collection and sorting of existing data are carried out. (E) Comment on the relationship between regional and cultural contact and integration: This year's planned data analysis in China is impossible due to the COVID-19 and immigration restrictions, and the data analysis in South Korea will be scheduled for the next year. (F) Presumption of the reasons for the change of human behavior in the early Upper Paleolithic period in northern China: precise research on the structure and relationship of human beings (G) Early Pleistocene fossils were created.
