2022年度は，以下の３つの項目について研究を進めた。１）日本国内の遺跡発掘調査報告書に記載された14C年代を悉皆的に調査し，これをデータベース化する作業を進めた。これについては日本全国を網羅したデータベースとして44425件のデータを「遺跡発掘調査報告書放射性炭素年代測定データベース」として公開した。また，国立奈良文化財研究所が公開している「全国遺跡報告総覧」へのリンクを新たに追加し，利用者の利便性を高める作業を継続的に行った。年代測定データベースを国際的に活用できるように英語化して公開するための準備を開始し，ケンブリッジ大学のエンリコ・クレーマー博士と打ち合わせを行い，英文化の作業を進めた。２）「日本の遺跡出土大型植物遺体データベース」については，過去5年分の最新の文献を調査し，データを追加していくための基礎的な作業（報告書の刊行数などの確認）を行い，2023年度以降に具体的な作業を進めることとした。３）既発掘資料の新規の14C年代測定と古環境分析については，長崎県佐世保市泉福寺洞窟から出土した縄文時代草創期の炭化材の資料調査とサンプリングを行った。採取した試料は樹種同定用と年代測定用に切り分け，それぞれの分析用の試料を準備した。また，福島県笹山原遺跡の後期旧石器時代前半期の遺跡およびそれに隣接する低地部分の試掘調査を実施し，古環境分析用の試料を採取した。これについては，予備的な年代測定と花粉分析を実施した。また，千葉県千葉市でボーリング調査を行い，最終氷期の堆積物を採取した。これについては極めて重要な資料であることから，植生史研究に短報として成果をまとめた。

In 2022, the following 3 projects were carried out. 1) Japan's domestic archaeological site investigation report records that the investigation was carried out in the 14th century, and that the work on the site was carried out. The preparation for the international use of dating is beginning, and the work of English culture is progressing. 2)"Large plant remains unearthed in Japan" is a survey of the latest literature in the past 5 years, and the basic work (number of reports published and confirmed) is being carried out. In 2023, specific work will be carried out. 3) New 14C dating and paleoenvironmental analysis of excavated data. Data survey of carbonized materials excavated from Izumufukuji Cave in Sasebo City, Nagasaki Prefecture during the period of initial creation. Sample preparation for tree species identification and dating In addition, preliminary excavation and investigation of the ruins of the first half of the Late Paleolithic period in Sasayama Plain, Fukushima Prefecture were carried out, and samples for palaeoenvironmental analysis were collected. This is the first time that a date has been prepared for pollen analysis. Chiba City, Japan The results of plant history research are reported in short.
