项目摘要

本研究は、全国各地の就学前施設をフィールドとする研究者達と協力して、3～4歳の幼児を対象とした全国大規模調査により、日本の幼児の24時間全体の行動（身体活動、座位行動、睡眠）を国際的に標準化された客観的な手法で調査する。更に、24時間全体の行動と幼児における健康的な発育・発達の指標（肥満、運動機能、認知機能）との関係を分析して、適切な行動とその根拠を明らかにすることを目的とする。2022年度は、都市部（東京都、神奈川県、愛媛県、沖縄県）と農村部（福島県、茨城県、三重県、岡山県、愛媛県、沖縄県）で研究協力の得られた就学前施設（幼稚園、保育所、認定こども園）に通園する幼児3～4歳を対象に調査を実施した。調査項目は、国際共同研究「Surveillance Study of Movement Behaviours in the Early Years」（SUNRISE Study）の調査内容および測定方法に基づき、対象幼児の身体活動量、座位行動、睡眠時間および生活習慣などの調査などとした。更に、運動機能検査、認知機能検査、および体型評価を行うと共に、就学前施設の保育環境について施設の代表者を対象にインタビュー調査を実施した。その結果、特にスクリーンタイムが推奨値を満たしていない幼児が多いことがうかがえた。また、身体活動量は女子より男子の方が多かった。次年度以降、各生活習慣のガイドラインの充足を含む実態やそれらの関連要因については、今後、さらに対象者数を増やしてから改めて検討・報告する。
