Exploring the effects of sound and visual image on students in college education

这个研究小组项目有以下四个目的。1)探索声音和视觉形象对大学生的力量和影响。2)通过案例体验，为学生提供亲自解读视觉信息的机会。3)为学生制作视觉作品准备软（知识）和硬条件。4)通过实际参与制作视频作品，使学生认识到声音和视觉图像使用的有效性和危险性。为了前两个目的，我们项目组的3名成员在柯南大学社会研究参考网（Reference Web For Social Research）上撰写了关于1)获得声音和视觉图像的实地考察，2)视觉信息的分析和处理的文章。（http://kccn.konan-u.ac.jp/sociology/research/）学生可以在任何需要的时候通过互联网看到上述内容，一些成员已经收集并分析了网站上的视觉图像的伦理问题。Sakagami制作了享誉世界的纪录片《LIFERS: REACHING FOR LIFE BEYOND the WALLS》（http://www.cain-j.org/Lifers/index.html）For)。第三个目的，Morita和Ohtsu制作了柯南大学有限的内联网网站，并在网站上呈现了一些原创的大学教育视觉图像。我们为视频制作工作坊班准备了一台服务器，并为课堂提供支持。为了最后的目的，北原和坂上有时会举办视觉形象联合开放的校际课程。盛田昭夫带着一些学生到京都和神户实地考察，并与学生一起拍摄了纪录片。森田鼓励一些学生将他们的地区研究成果（阪神地区百科全书）制作成ppt版本。这是2005年12月17日在柯南大学举行的“大学教育中‘声音和视觉影像’的可能性：改变教育现状的事例研究”公开讨论会的结果。少

This study group project aims at 4 purposes as follows. 1)Exploring the power and the effect of sound and visual image on college students. 2)Offering the chance to interpret visual information to the students by themselves through case experience. 3)Preparing of the soft (know how) and hard condition for students' making visual works. 4)To make students learn both effectiveness and danger with sound and visual image use through practical participation of making video works.For the first 2 purposes, 3 members of our project group have written the articles on 1)fieldworks where sound and visual image obtained, 2)the analysis and process of visual information, on the Reference Web for Social Research, Konan University. We prepared a server for the video making workshop class and supported the class. For the last purpose, Kitahara and Sakagami held the joint open inter-college class for visual image sometimes. Morita took some students to the Jizo Bon research field trip in kyoto and Kobe, made documentary video with the students. Morita encouraged some students to make the result of their area studies (The Encyclopedia of Hanshin Area) present as a powerpoint version.
