项目摘要

企業活動の情報化は、目に見える一部の現象に着目して、マスコミ等にとりあげられている。しかし、その状況を数量的に適格に把握しようとすると多くの困難が発生する。それは、情報の生産が、情報活動を「主たる業」とする情報産業所属の事業所のみでなく、その活動を「従たる業」とする事業所や「業としない」事業所などの事業所でみられることにある。日本の産業統計は、事業所の主たる業を産業分類した形で作成されているため、情報の生産活動を分析するには様々な工夫が必要となる。さらに、情報処理活動は、子会社等を設立して実施されることが多いため、これらを「企業群」として集約し分析する必要もある。今年度は、この問題を解決するために、1.情報活動に従事する就労者、2.情報活動のために使用される計算機の数量、3.情報活動経費をとらえ得る統計をサ-ベイするとともに、これら統計がカバ-し得る情報活動が上記のことなる活動レベルの事業所群をどこまで把握しているか、また把握の度合が時間の経過とともに変化していないかを検討した。この検討結果は、次年度以降の本格的なモデル分析の基礎となるものである。今年度検討の対象とした統計調査は、国勢調査、特定サ-ビス産業実態調査、事業所統計調査、情報処理実態調査、有価証券報告書である。これらの成果は平成3年度成果報告書「企業活動と情報管理」に発表されている。
