ドイツの法律・判例データベースjuris(ユ-リス)を中心にして、国連売買条約に関連する裁判所の判例と仲裁廷の仲裁判断について調査・収集してきた。UNCITRALのCLOUTニュースレターとWitt教授のリストと突き合わせることによって、現段階ではもっとも完備した150件のデータを採集し、データベース構築の基礎として、M言語による処理をおこなった。ユ-リスのデータについては、一部は全文翻訳し、そのソースである雑誌論文および重複して採録されている場合にはCLOUTの記事と照合して、データ採集の性格を分析した。また、上級裁判所からはじめてドイツの判例の収集にも着手した。模擬仲裁廷における仲裁人の経験も統一売買法のなかにCISGの役割を位置づけるうえで参考になった。詳しさと作業のばらつきから、データベースとしてのまとまりが得られなかった点は反省させられる。その時点での成果をWWW上に提供できる方法が今後の課題である。
