Compute cluster for scientific computing

The application is for a Linux compute cluster consisting of about 25 to 30 computing nodes, of which about half should be equipped with graphics cards, file servers and a datadata network to perform computationally intensive simulations mainly in the areas of classical molecular dynamics, quantum chemistry and dynamics, as well as of mathematics, computational (statistical) physics, and artificial intelligence. This acquisition is intended to replace a compute cluster which was put into service in 2012 and which is the only major compute cluster at Jacobs University Bremen.
