项目摘要

この班では沖縄本島とその周辺離島で使用されている方言の音韻、文法、語彙の記録・保存を目的に資料の収集を進めてきたが、最終年度にあたる平成14年度は、各分担者が以下のようにおこなった調査・研究の成果を中心に、初年度からの調査資料をくわえて、報告書『危機に瀕した沖縄諸島方言の緊急調査研究』をまとめた。津波古敏子は、沖縄北部の屋我地島の全5集落の方言、那覇市前島方言、久米島硫黄鳥島方言の現地調査を行い、それぞれの方言の基礎語彙を記録し、報告した。屋我地方言については「沖縄屋我地方言の諸相」としてまとめて報告した。また第6回全体会議で屋我地方言について口頭発表した。生塩睦子は、沖縄北部の伊江島方言の副詞語彙と「伊江島方言文典」作成のためのあいさつ言葉の現地調査を行い、そのうち副詞については「沖縄伊江島方言の属性副詞語彙」としてまとめ、報告した。高江洲頼子は、沖縄南部の渡名喜島の方言辞典の作成のための語彙資料の整理をすすめながら文法の調査をおこなった。文法については「渡名喜島方言における格助詞の研究」として報告した。上村幸雄は、琉球語を中心とする日本語形成に関わる言語資料の収集と研究のため、主として出雲方言の現地調査をおこなった。これまでに収集した資料をもとに、「言語、その過去、現在、未来-日本列島の言語を中心に」としてまとめ、報告した。その他、研究協力者の濱川真砂と月野美奈子は、琉球文学のテキスト化と教材化をすすめながら、琉球文学の教材化のための研究をおこない、濱川真砂は「琉球文学の教材化」、月野美奈子は「高校生のための組踊の教材化」としてまとめ、報告した。
