项目摘要

(1)「備中国賀陽郡服部郷図」の現地比定を進め、二つの角度を異にする条里体系がひとつの整合的な条里の図に合成されたものであることを明らかにした。これによって、従来、現地比定に問題を残していた栢寺廃寺跡の位置も矛盾がなくなり、土豪「稲吉」の本拠地も現在の窪木集落であることがほぼ明らかになった。また、「服部郷図」の西寄りに空白の区画が存在することの意味についても、二つの条里体系を合成する際に生じた空白であることがわかった。(2)上記の新しい成果が得られたため、結果を「『備中国賀陽郡服部郷図』の再検討」という報告書にまとめ刊行した。(3)一部になお課題が残るものの、「服部郷図」の現地比定がほぼ終了し、本研究課題の目的である歴史的地域景観を復元するための、古代の定点となる「額田寺伽藍並条里図」と中世の定点となる「服部郷図」が揃ったことで、来年度の地理情報システムを用いた開発のプロセスや景観の復元を行うための基礎的データが整備されたことになる。(4)条里を復元するために画像上に自由に方眼を描く機能を、昨年度に開発したDrawGridのプログラムに付加した。これにより、条里の検討がさらに容易になった。(5)すでに開発しているGISmapのプログラムに、NASAが提供しているSRTMのDVD版に対応する機能や、国土地理院の5mメッシュDEMに対応する機能を付加した。(6)地形等の三次元データを画像化し自由に影をつけて形を観察するプログラムを開発した。
