Das Teilprojekt untersucht das Ausgreifen des Menschenrechtsdiskurses auf einen zunächst als vom Recht substantiell getrennt erscheinenden Themenbereich: Gesundheit. Im Mittelpunkt steht die Frage, ob und ggf. wie der Menschenrechtsdiskurs sowohl theoretische Konzepte zu Gesundheit und Migration als auch die gesundheitspolitische Praxis beeinflusst. Hierzu wird die Praxis der mit Gesundheit und Migration befassten Internationalen Organisationen des UN-Systems untersucht.
