近年, World Wide Web上の検索エンジンを使って様々な調べ物や捜し物をすることが日常的になっている. しかし, Webには統制がないため, 必要な情報だけを選別し, 複数の情報を結び付けて解を見出す作業はユーザにゆだねられている. この問題を解消するために, 既存の情報検索を超える知識検索の技術について研究を行った. 具体的には, 種々の観点に基づいてWeb情報を体系化することを目的とした. Webには多種多様な情報が存在するので, ユーザが検索に使用する検索質問も多種多様である. 検索質問の種類によって必要とされる検索の手法が根本的に異なることが明らかになっている. そこで, 様々な検索質問に対して高い検索精度を実現するためには, 入力された検索質問の種類を自動的に特定し, 異なる検索手法を選択的に使用する必要がある. 本研究は, 検索質問を自動的に分類し, その結果に基づいて検索手法を動的に変更する手法を提案した. 検索質問として入力されたキーワードがWeb上でどのように使われているのかを分析することで, 「調査型」か「誘導型」のどちらかに自動分類する手法を確立した. 具体的には, アンカーテキスト(リンク先にジャンプするためにクリックする文字列)としての使われ方を情報理論に基づいて分析することで, 検索質問を高精度で分類することが可能になった. さらに, この分類手法を応用することで, 「カナダの首都はどこにありますか?」というような自然文による質問応答においても質問の種別を細かく分類でき, 応答の精度を向上させることが可能になった.

In recent years, the search engine on the World Wide Web has been used to adjust the content of the search engine and the daily search engine. The problem is solved, existing information is searched, knowledge is searched, and technology is researched. The specific purpose of this paper is to systematize Web information. On the Web, a variety of information exists, and users can search and use a variety of search queries. The types of search queries are necessary and the methods of search are fundamental and different. For example, the search query type is automatically specified, and the search method is selected and used. In this study, the automatic classification of search queries, the results of which are based on the proposed methods of search queries. The search query is entered into the database and the method of automatic classification is established on the Web. Specific information, such as text, text, etc., can be classified with high precision. This is the first time I've ever been to a school. The answer to the question is classified in detail, and the accuracy of the answer is upward.
