项目摘要

本研究班は、儒教の歴史性と現代との連関を中心に研究を進めているが、今堀誠二、鈴木修次両名は体調不調のため、もっぱら諸資料の整理を中心として従来の自己の研究の再検討を試みた。その結果、今堀はこの十年間の発表物の『研究文献目録』を刊行し,鈴木は唐詩の総括的把握を行ない、唐代詩人における儒教の影響を検討し、文学における儒教の様相を明らかにした。一方、小林文男・河田悌一は、中国大陸において精力的に実証的研究を行なった。小林は、中国における学問と政治との相克を視点として、呉〓の研究を推進している。とりわけ、文化大革命期における呉〓の位置づけと再評価とを目標にして、その柱に儒教の諸問題を置き、重層的研究を行なっている。河田は、現代中国における孔子の問題をとりあげ、現地調査に基づきつつ、現代中国における孔子の評価を日本人の立場から客観的に把握し、大陸において今後登場するであろうところの儒教再評価との連関を検討しつつある。また阿部は、清朝末期から民国初期にかけての中国における教育制度に着目し、その制度が、日本の教育制度諸資料の翻案ないし翻訳に基づくものであることを発見し、従来になかった視点よりその真相を分析しつつあり、新しい成果が生まれている。加地は、儒教を研究する方法として、儒家と対照的位置にある法家の思想をまず明らかにすることを考え、法家思想の代表者である『韓非子』を対象にして、その全体像を解析しつつある。本研究班は、計三回の合同研究会を持った。第一回は阿部、加地が儒教と中国人の民族性との連関について訓細な検討を行ない、第二回は今堀を除く全員が各自の研究状況に基づきつつ儒教の現代性について充実した討論を行ない、第三回は同メンバーで、儒教における人間性について意見を交換し、三回を通じて成果ある研究活動を行なった。
