项目摘要

今堀誠二は、著書『中国封建社会の構成』を完成した。旧中国における農村の原史料の分析を中心にして、その社会構造を実証的に明らかにした。小林文男は、重慶時代の中華民国政府が儒教とどのように関わっていたかという点を中心にして、従来知られていなかった諸史料の発掘を行った。阿部洋は、清朝末期の中国における教育の近代化過程における日本の影響関係、ならびにその光と影とを実証的に解明し、著書『中国の近代教育と明治日本』を完成した。福井文雅は、『般若心経』の朝鮮本の系統を実証的に追求し、中国・日本における同書の諸本との関係を考察して、三カ国におけるそれぞれの仏教における解釈の相違の検討を試みた。河田悌一は、儒教の農村における大きな影響を無視できないとして村治という概念を立てようとした梁瀬溟と、農村の社会主義革命を推進した毛沢東との対比を思想史的に検討した。古田博司は、朝鮮における朱子学の形成において最も重要な人物の一人である李栗谷の青年時代等における思想的立場を分析した。加地伸行は、儒教そのものについて歴史的に検討を進め、その最大問題点となる『孝経』の成立とその思想史的意味について研究した。以上は個別的研究であるが、研究会を三回開催し、順次各員が研究発表を行ない、儒教における人間観の問題について討論を重ねた。また研究会ごとに漢籍調査(関西大学所蔵内藤文庫・大阪府立図書館所蔵朝日新聞文庫ならびに朝鮮本)を行い、研究を深めた。
