项目摘要

重点領域研究「チトクロームPー450の分子生物学」の総括班として、研究計画の検討、研究成果の評価とともに研究全般の推進と研究成果の他分野の研究者への伝達のため下記の活動を行った。1.総括班会議を3回行い研究計画と研究の進行状況の検討を行った。2.12月3日に大阪で総括班と2つの研究班合同の研究班会議を行った。研究班会議には計画研究、公募採択研究の全研究者とその共同研究者合計70名が出席し、各研究者による研究発表と出席者全員による討論がなされた。3.総括班主催の公開講演会「生理活性脂質とチトクロームPー450」を12月2日に大阪で開催した。講演会では、ステロイド、エイコサノイドの代謝に関与するPー450についての最近の研究の発展が10題の講演として発表された。講演会はポスターの配布によって全国の主要な大学、研究機関に知らせた結果、130名の参加者があった。4.研究班員間の交流を盛んにするため、全研究班員の住所、研究題目、研究内容などを記載した班員名簿を作り全研究班員に配布した。この名簿は関連分野の研究者との交流にも役立つものであり、要望に応じて関連分野の研究者にも送付した。5.Pー450と関連酵素につき蛋白質のアミノ酸配列とCDNA、遺伝子の塩基配列のコンピューター検索用データバンクを作成した。データバンクはフロッピーディスクに収めて研究班員の希望者に配布した。6.研究班の全体会議の他に、特定の問題についての比較的小人数の討論集会も計画することとし、1月19日にPー450camについての討論集会を東京で行った。参加者は7名であった。7.米国コロラド大学のCaughy教授の所有するFTーIR装置を使ってPー450の研究を行うため石村巽班員を3週間米国に派遣した。
