(課題 1) 店舗マネージャーへのデータ分析教育の効果の測定，(課題 3) 組織的・能力的制約下の企業の価格設定行動，に関しては，協力企業の事情により中止となった．(課題 2) 需要推定・商品選択における「現場の知識と経験」と AI の効率性の比較に関しては，半年間のフィールド実験を終え，解析用のデータが出揃った．このフィールド実験では，ひとシーズン内の自販機の売れ筋商品選択を多椀バンディット問題と捉え，データ分析による商品選択戦略と，人間の判断による商品選択戦略のパフォーマンスを比較している．また，どのような時に，現場の専門家がデータ分析によるアドバイスを聞き入れてくれるかについても検証している．具体的には，自販機営業地域ごとに配備された現場の専門家にあらかじめ新商品の自営業地域での売れ行きの予想をヒアリングしたうえで，自販機営業地域をランダムに，今まで通り現場の専門家の判断で商品選択を行う統制群，データ分析による商品選択戦略の推奨を行った治験群I，あらかじめヒアリングした現場の専門家の予想を初期信念として組み込んだデータ分析による商品選択戦略の推奨を行った治験群II，に分けて，現場の専門家の商品選択行動がデータ分析の推奨結果によってどう変化するか，それによって前年同期比売上などの成果が改善するかを分析した．現時点での分析結果によると，治験群Iと統制群では現場の専門家の行動にも前年同期比売上にも統計的な違いは見られない一方，治験群IIでは現場の専門家がデータ分析の推奨結果に対し有意に多く反応しており，前年同期比売上もより伸びていることがわかった．これは，データ分析結果を成果に結びつける際に，現場の専門家の意見を尊重してアルゴリズムに組み込むことの重要性を示唆している．
