The main goal of this research is to perform a large set of 3D state-of-the-art long-time core-collapse supernova (CCSN) simulations for a grid of supernova progenitor models with masses from 10.8 to 75 solar mass. The set of 3D models will allow us to systematically explore the diversity in the explosion properties of CCSNe. In FY2017, we focused on performing simulations in 1D for calibrating parameters regulating the explosion strength. We explored three different progenitor models which are believed to be the progenitor of SN1987A. We obtained the necessary parameters from the results of these 1D simulations, and fine tuning of the parameters for 3D simulations are now being conducted. We are performing the first set of 3D simulations.
