项目摘要

本研究は1988年から1989年にかけて、首都圏で発生した幼女連続誘拐殺人事件に動機づけられ、幼児や児童の誘拐防止のための対策を講じるために企画されたものである。誘拐先進国のアメリカでは1980年前後から、従来の身代金要求を目的とする営利誘拐から子どもの性的加害・虐待を伴う誘拐・殺害へと変化しているが、上述の幼女連続誘拐殺人事件はアメリカでの状況と極めて類似している。しかも子どもの誘拐問題に関する研究がわが国で全く存在していない今日、子どもの生命を救うための防止が緊急の課題である。そこで幼児及び小学校低学年児を対象とする実践的なプログラムを開発し、作成することが研究の主な目的である。われわれは主にアメリかの研究文献ならびにわが国の誘拐事件の特質を調査・検討した結果、アニメ-ション・ビデオを作成し、誘拐の典型例を抽出し、それへの対応の仕方を学ばせることが防止の上で必要であると判断した。アニメ-ション・ビデオによる防止法はわが国ではじめての作品であり、外国でもあまり例がない。幸い、このアイデアの実現を民間企業の協力により具体化することができた。その結果、多くの幼稚園.保育所.小学校.家庭等で視聴され、防止教材として活用されている。さらに学術用、研究用として大学での講義や講演会等で使用するための研究用ビデオも作成した。この中では誘拐の手口、特徴、防止の方法、配慮等について、主に教師、親、一般人向けに平易な解説を加えたビデオが作成された。なお本研究の目的の一つに、ビデオ視聴前と後で子どもにどのような行動の変化が生起するか、に関する問題は、現在、実験を継続中であり、論文としてまとめられていない。しかし本研究を進める中で、小学校中・高学年用のアニメ-ション・ビデオの作成の必要性を痛感した。
