项目摘要

本研究は、6世紀から10世紀にかけて西南中国地域社会に生じた変化について、現地調査を含めて新史料を吟味することによって解明を目指すものである。対象地域を大きく四川・雲南・嶺南以南及び北部ベトナムに区分し、地区ごとに分析を進める計画であり、初年度にあたる今年度は、まず基礎情報の整理と精査を行い、研究対象史料のうち実見のめどが立つものについて現地調査を行う予定であった。しかし、新型コロナウイルス感染症流行の影響により、当初の計画を3カ月遅らせて7月からの研究開始となった。また2022年度末まで、主な研究対象地域に含まれる中国への渡航については大きな制限が持続した。このため、研究目的に影響ない範囲で計画の順序変更などを行い、研究対象地域との往来の状況を見極めつつ研究活動を実施した。第一に、雲南地区については、伝存品であるために先行研究・印刷資料が比較的多い5世紀雲南の碑刻（爨宝子碑・爨龍顔碑）に着目して、本研究対象時期初期における状況を検討した。拓本や報告書、実査記録などを入手して現地調査に準ずる調査を行い、碑文の精読によって石碑制作前後の時期における社会状況を可能な限り明らかにした。成果については口頭報告の後、訳注部分を研究ノートとして公刊した。第二に、四川地区について、地方史料の記述を軸として本研究対象時期初期における状況を検討し、地域文化という観点から整理を試みた。これについては学会にて口頭報告を行った。第三に、嶺南以南、北中部ベトナムに至る地区については、過去の調査データを整理するとともに、書店を経由して現地出版物を収集することで基礎研究を進めた。当該地区については5世紀・8世紀のベトナム出土史料、7世紀の広西伝存史料などの分析が核となるため、それらを含めて成果公表に進むことを想定し、本年度においてはその準備を行った。本年度における研究実績は以上のとおりである。
