项目摘要

本研究は、アジアの開発途上国4カ国（バングラデシュ、カンボジア、ラオス、ベトナム）を事例対象とし、現地での実態調査によりアジア開発途上国の第一人者と協働で、就学前教育需要側の課題を明らかにすることを目的とする。具体的に本研究は、就学前教育への親・保護者の関与にかかわるテーマである、①就学決定要因、②就学前教育への私的支出、③学校運営委員会参加に焦点を当て、各事例対象国で定量的・定性的手法の両方を用いた現状分析を実施し、比較を行う。これによって、アジアの開発途上国の多くが直面している就学前教育需要側の課題を明らかにすることを目的とする。研究初年度である2022年度は、事例対象4カ国における、親の関与が幼児教育施設に通う子どもの学習へ及ぼす影響に関する実証研究や幼児教育制度、就学前教育段階の無償化政策実施状況に関する政策関連文書・報告書等のレビューを行った。また、研究代表者および分担者間においてZoomを用いたオンライン会議や、個々に対面での打ち合わせを実施し、事例4カ国の比較検証が可能なリサーチフレームワークの作成を行った。

This study aims to provide case studies, field surveys, first-person collaboration, and insights into preschool education needs in four countries on the road to development. This study focuses on the relationship between parents and protectors of preschool education, the main factors of schooling decision, the private expenditure of preschool education, the participation of school management committees, the quantitative and qualitative analysis of the current situation of each country, and the comparison. In the development of preschool education, many problems have been faced, and the problems have been clarified. In the first year of the study, through 2022, the study conducted research on the impact of child education on learning in four countries, parents and child education facilities, and policy-related documents and reports on the implementation of free policies at the preschool education level. For example, the comparison of the research representatives and the participants is possible.
