The seven text volumes of the edition can already be accessed via their own indexes of persons and places. The complete indexes now allow conclusions to be drawn not only about the specific individual references but also about the volumes as a whole. These indexes are supplemented by a subject index. ln the glossary of persons, the 126 persons of particular importance for this edition and appropriately distinguished in the text volumes are introduced biographically and with regard to the status of the documents published here. ln addition to the abbreviations as well as the archive and archival indexes, the document indexes provide both an edition-chronological and a historical-chronological overview of the documents.
