1.筋肉収縮を記述する方程式の研究Colli and Grasselli等によって扱われた筋収縮を表す方程式u_t(t,x)-εu_<xx>(t,x)+z′(t)u_x(t,x)=ψ(t,x,z(t),u(t,x))z(t)=L(∫w(x)u(t,x)dx)を有領域の場合に考察し、大域的強解の存在,一意性が成り立つための条件を求めることを目指したが、当初目標としていた結果を今年度中に得ることは出来なかった。しかしながら、全区間の場合には以下に述べる結果が得られた。従来、全空間の場合には変数変換x→x-z(t)を行なうことにより-z′(t)u_xの項を消去して、方程式を扱いやすくしてから解の存在が示されてきた。ところが、この変換により非線形項もψ(t,x-z(t),z(t),u(t,x-z(t)))と変換されてしまうので、zに関するリプシッツ性を要求するとψに不自然な仮定を課す必要があった。本研究では、変数変換を行なわなくても自然な仮定の下で大域的強解の存在が言えることを示した。変数変換の方法が利用できない有界領域の場合にも、このアプローチが応用できないかを今後検討して行きたい。本研究で得られた結果を、1996年10月27日〜31日に広島市国際会議場で開催された、「発展方程式とテクノロジーへの応用に関する第5回国際会議」のポスターセッションにおいて発表した。また、この会議の会議録の出版が計画されているので、そこにも収録される予定である。2.解析的半群の非線形摂動作用素Aの分数巾の空間を実補間空間D_A(θ,p)に置き換えた場合に,PruβやOharu-Pazyによって扱われた条件を弱めて,弱解を与える発展作用素の存在、ならびに解の滑らかさについて一部結果が得られたが、筋肉の収縮を記述する方程式への応用には不十分なので、引き続き研究を進めて行きたい。
