项目摘要

本研究では、1998年に開通が予定されている明石大橋の開通が阪神・四国間のトラック輸送に及ぼす影響について分析を行った。具体的には、1994年12月に阪神・四国のトラック事業所を対象に行われたアンケート調査結果をもとにして次のような分析結果を得た。1.阪神・四国間のトラック輸送の実態と現行ルートの選択要因阪神・四国間のトラック輸送の実態および現行ルートの利用理由などについて分析を試みた。この際特に、明石大橋と同様な連絡橋の事例として瀬戸大橋に着目した分析を行った。この結果、瀬戸大橋では「生鮮食料品」など緊急度の高い貨物が輸送されていること、「木材」などはフェリーを利用される傾向が強いこと、さらには、フェリーには「船中で運転手が休憩できる」といったメリットがあることなどを示した。2.明石大橋開通によるトラック事業所の経営環境変化に対する意識構造「共分散構造分析」を用いることで、トラック事業所の経営環境変化に関する意識構造モデルを構築した。この結果、明石大橋開通により「派生的な需要」の増加や、「物流サービスへの要求度」が増すなどといった経営環境変化が起きることを示した。またこうした経営環境変化が明石大橋の利用意向に影響を与えることもわかった。3.トラックによる明石大橋の選択要因明石大橋の選択要因を分析したところ、所要時間や輸送コストが大きな要因となっていた。特に、明石大橋の料金は5,500円を境にその利用率に大きな違いが見られることや、現行のルートによっても、料金による利用率の違いが見られることがわかった。一方、「船中で運転手が休める」などフェリー輸送特有の利点により、今後もフェリーを利用するとする事業所があることも確かめられた。
