项目摘要

本研究の目的は,日本人研究者が書いた科学技術論文を分析し,科学論文の特徴的な記述法,表現機能などを抽出し,日本語科学技術論文の特徴を明確にすることである。最終的には,理工系留学生のために,科学技術論文作成支援ソフトを開発することであるが,本申請の研究は,その前段階に位置付けられるものである。1.推敲過程のプロトコルデータ収集博士論文の概要を日本語で作成する留学生の推敲過程を発話思考法によりプロトコルデータを収集した。非漢字圏の理工系留学生は博士論文を英語で書くのが普通であるが,概要や要約は1ページ日本語での記述が義務づけられている。この過程では、英語で書かれた要約を日本語へと翻訳する。専門用語に関しては、日本語に置き換えることができるが、日本語構文への翻訳が難しく、チュータの手で意味が分かる日本語へと変換され、更にその後、教官の朱が入る。この過程を何回か繰り返し最終的に出来上がる。2.論型・文型の抽出工学系・理系の学術論文をコピーし、OCRで読みとり、分析を行い、特に要旨、序(はじめに)の部分の論述パターンを取り出した。これは、最終的なまとめまで至らなかった。3.留学生の記述能力の測定筑波大学留学生センターで行われるプレイスメントテストの作文課題の文法力と運用能力に関する分析を行った。これは、研究科で最終的に論文を書くときの日本語力を計る基準として用いるために必要である。
