妊娠性貧血は多くの妊婦に発症しやすく、早産や分娩時多量出血などへの一要因となる。そこで研究者は先行研究にて、妊産褥婦における貧血発症及び貧血非改善の影響要因を明らかにして妊娠性貧血の予防のための介入プログラムを開発し、一定の効果を得ることができた。しかし、COVED-19の影響で個別指導時間の削減や集団指導の中止により、医療者は全妊婦に必要な貧血指導の実施が困難となり、妊婦は妊娠性貧血を予防するための対策を実践する機会を失った。妊娠性貧血を予防するためには、妊娠初期に妊婦自身がもつ妊娠性貧血に対する自己管理能力を把握し、妊娠性貧血を発症する前段階で対応することが必要である。そこで本研究の目的は妊娠性貧血を発症する可能性の高い妊婦をスクリーニングすることができる「妊娠性貧血予防のための自己管理能力尺度」を開発し、その信頼性・妥当性を検討する。研究は、研究1、研究2、研究3を段階的に行うこととする。研究1では、妊娠性貧血を予防するための自己管理能力を測定できる尺度がないため、予備調査として妊婦に自由記述式の質問紙調査を実施する。この予備調査で妊娠性貧血の予防に対する自己管理能力を質的に分析し、研究2の尺度原案作成における基礎資料とする。研究2の尺度開発過程では、質的分析から抽出された要因と先行研究を基に妊娠性貧血予防のための自己管理能力を評価できる尺度を開発し、研究3で信頼性・妥当性を検討する。尚、本研究の研究計画として、研究1の予備調査と得られた質的分析に1年間、研究2の尺度原案作成に2年間、研究3の調査と信頼性・妥当性の検討に1年間を予定している。
