本研究は、学校で医療的ケア児の支援にあたる養護教諭と看護師の支援内容と連携・協働体制の実態を調査し、養護教諭と看護師の連携・協働における困難要因と課題を明らかにすることを目的としている。今年度は研究初年度であり、主として以下の３点を行った。1．学校に在籍する医療的ケア児への支援に関する文献検討とインタビューガイドの検討を重ね、研究計画書を作成した。作成した研究計画書は、研究者が所属する高知大学倫理委員会に申請し、承認を得た。2．教育委員会への電話調査を行い、医療的ケア児が在籍する学校を可能な範囲で把握した。学校長より協力が得られた場合、研究対象者に改めて研究の趣旨について説明し、同意が得られた養護教諭6名に対して、20～55分の半構造化面接を実施した。3．面接内容から逐語録を作成し、養護教諭が医療的ケア児にどのように関わっており、医療的ケアを行う看護師と実際どのように連携しどのような点に困難を感じているのかについて分析した。その結果、養護教諭の支援は直接的な支援と間接的な支援に分類された。また、養護教諭と看護師は互いの専門性を発揮し、情報共有や役割分担を行いながら、医療的ケア児への支援を行っていることが分かった。養護教諭が看護師と連携する上で困難と感じることについては、自身に関する要因、体制に関する要因、関係性に関する要因に分類され、同時に円滑に連携する上での工夫や配慮を行っていることが分かった。
