2022年度は、対象地域における野外教育実践に関する資料調査を実施するとともに、収集資料の分析を中心に研究を進めた。ただし、22年度中もコロナ禍による制限が続いており、調査に一定の制約が生じた。そこで、主にオンラインによる資料の閲覧や、図書・雑誌資料の複写物の取り寄せを中核に資料調査を行なった。調査では、野外教育に関する書籍、新聞・雑誌記事など、各地の野外教育の概要や実践の状況が記載されている一次史料の収集を実施した。また、収集した史料をもとに、地域的な差異や共通性に注目しながら、個別実践の特質を検証する取り組みを進めた。その他、後述するように、本研究課題には基盤となった研究課題が存在する。この研究課題内で調査を実施し、21年度に野外教育学会にて成果を発表した富山県内の野外における教育の実践状況について、さらなる分析を加え論文としてまとめた。これらの研究により、明治期から大正期の富山県内における「野外における教育」の実施状況が明確になった。加えて、地域で実施された固有の実践が、「林間学校」の奨励を中心とする大正期の体育奨励策を通じて虚弱児童向けの実践として画一化していく経過など、富山県内における「野外における教育」の史的展開の実情や、その過程に東京市との類似性が見られる点等も明らかになった。なお、筆者は、19年度から21年度の予定で科学研究費助成事業の助成を受け、同様の課題意識に基づく研究を進めてきた（基盤研究(C)、課題番号：19K11627）。しかし、コロナ禍により制約が多く、研究を継続する必要が生じた。このため、先の研究課題の期間を延長すると共に、同様の課題意識に基づきつつ、調査対象や内容を発展させた本研究課題にも取り組むことにした。本報告書に述べる実績の概要等は、その基盤となった以前の研究課題とも関連しているため、同研究の実施状況報告書も併せて参照して欲しい。
