项目摘要

本研究は，高齢者の知覚，認知能力にあったソーシャルロボットによる生活支援のためのコミュニケーションについて，近接学及びロボットの行動生成モデルの観点からその手法を確立しようとするものである。これまでソーシャルロボットと人のコミュニケーションについて多くの研究がなされている。特にソーシャルロボットと人との適切な距離の取り方についてパーソナルスペースの観点から様々な検討がなされている。人がロボットに対し不快感を抱きにくい距離，ロボットとの社会的関係を踏まえた適切な距離についての知見は得られているものの，その距離がどの程度メッセージの伝達や行動の誘導に適しているかは明らかになっていない。また，もう一つの課題は，これらの検討は大学生など若年層の被験者を対象に実施されている場合が多く，知覚・認知能力に大きな差があると予想される高齢者を対象に実施された例はあまり見られない。そこで，2022年度は，ロボットの外観・サイズと，人との距離感を変えたときのコミュニケーションの受け取り方について，成年被験者群と高齢被験者群とで評価実験を行った。ロボットの外観としては，車輪型移動ロボットに表情提示機能のみを有するロボットと車輪で移動する人型ロボット（Pepper）を使用した。ロボットから人へ作業指示を行う際の距離感を変えて実験を行った。コミュニケーションを通じたロボットの社会的属性についてRoSASを用いて評価した。その結果，ロボットの外観に対する好感度については，成年被験者群ではロボット間で有意な差はなかった。一方，高齢被験者群については車輪型移動ロボットよりも人型ロボットの方が有意に好感度が高い結果となった。距離感に関しては，高齢被験者群ではロボットの近い距離に対して温かさの項目で高いスコアを示したのに対し，成年被験者群ではロボットの近い距離に対して不快感の項目で高いスコアを示した。
