本年度は、ドイツ語の結束的不定詞を含む構文の統語構造の分析を進めた。結束的不定詞については、不定詞と支配動詞が複合動詞を形成するという分析と、不定詞が独自の句を形成するという分析の間の対立がある。本研究は複合動詞的な性質を不定詞句の大きさにより説明することを目指し、Ramchand(2008, 2018)で提案されている単一の動詞の動詞句をさらにいくつかの機能範疇の投射に分解するアプローチを用いて、不定詞が従来の研究で想定されているよりも小さな句を形成する場合があるという仮説を立て、研究を行った。具体的には、不定詞句がvPよりも小さな構造を持つ場合として、前年度から継続しているsein(英：be) + zu(英：to)不定詞構文の分析のほか、zu不定詞がbleiben(英：stay/remain)やbekommen(英：get)と結びついた構文の分析を行った。sein + zu不定詞構文では、受動化により抑圧された動作主項がfuer(英：for)-PPで表される場合がある。本研究はこのfuer-PPを嗜好述語(predicates of personal taste)などの評価者依存的な述語において現れる経験者項と分析し、fuer-PPが現れる場合と現れない場合では、不定詞句の大きさが異なると主張した。また、sein + zu不定詞構文と同じく受動文的・モダリティ的意味を示すbleiben+ zu不定詞構文については、sein + zu不定詞構文との相違点を、bleibenという動詞の語彙的性質がこの構文においても保たれていると想定し、分析を行った。最後に、bekommenを含む構文では、この構文におけるbekommenとzu不定詞の語彙的意味の密接な結びつき方を、Ramchand(2008)が提案した不完全連結（“underassociation”）という操作を用いて分析した。
