令和４年度は、申請書に記載した計画を一部変更して、研究を遂行した。なぜなら、『失われた時を求めて』における喪の場面を分析する中で、これらの場面がプルーストの「個」と「普遍」の問題系の中で果たす役割を明らかにするためには、申請書に記載したような第一次大戦後の死生観の変化という視点だけではなく、非規範的なセクシュアリティの観点からの検討が必要なことが判明したからである。以上の判断を踏まえ、当該年度は、『失われた時を求めて』中の喪の場面の精読を行うとともに、クィア批評における喪の議論の蓄積及びプルーストへの言及のある主要書籍の検討を行った。以上の初年度の研究によって、『失われた時と求めて』における、祖母の死に対する語り手の喪、アルベルチーヌの死に対する語り手の喪、母の死に対する語り手の喪、さらに祖母の死に対する母の喪とが、それぞれ異なる様相を呈していることが明らかになった。この分析では、ジャン＝イヴ・タディエの『知られざる湖：プルーストとフロイトの間で』、セジウィックの『プルーストにおける天気』や『クローゼットの認識論』、またフロイトの『喪とメランコリー』とこれを継承したニコラ・アブラハムとマリア・トロークの『表皮と核』における議論、さらにそこに批判的な検討を加えたバトラーの『ジェンダー・トラブル』を参照した。研究成果の一部は、「クィア批評におけるプルースト」と題して論文にまとめた。本論文は『仏語仏文学研究』57号に寄稿する。また、2024年3月の日本フランス語フランス文学会の関東支部大会で口頭発表すべく、原稿を準備している。
