项目摘要

1960年安保闘争における国会議事堂周辺での人びとの集合の検討をおこなった。先行研究においては、関与主体が多岐に渡る安保闘争は、単一の運動というよりも異なる抗議行動の集合体だったことが指摘されており、なかでも無党無派層の闘争参加者については、参加動機としての市民的エートスが重視されてきたことを確認した。しかし無党無派層のうち中心的な人物以外の無名の参加者のデモ参加プロセスについては十分に明らかにされていないことを確認した。そこで、当時安保反対デモに参加した無党無派層の参加までの経緯やデモ経験について分析するために、当時のミニコミ誌や雑誌に寄稿された手記、雑誌・新聞記事、警察資料などを検討した。その結果から、無党無派層の安保反対デモについて、①主体、②空間、③資源に注目した以下の論点を明らかにした。この結果について、韓国および欧州での実地調査と対照しつつ、時代や空間を超えて成立する都市の集合の普遍的要素を抽出した。①主体：人びとははじめから明確な政治的問題意識をもってデモに参加した運動主体というより、むしろデモに参加して歩くという具体的な実践の過程のなかで、政治的権利主体としての自覚を得つつ、都市空間を占拠することの政治的意味を意識するようになったことがわかった。②空間：デモ行進は都市の路上において行われたが、デモ参加者ははじめは行進には参加せず沿道の歩道でためらっていた。同時に、そのように沿道で参加をためらっている見物人に対して、デモ行進の参加者は自身と同じ主体性の弱さを想像することで、道路と歩道とを越境するような連帯を感じとっていた。このように、デモ行進とは具体的な路上の空間性を前提として成立していたことがわかった。③資源：周囲の参加者の身体や服装のあり方から運動の連帯が想像され、プラカードなどの道具が空間的実践の継続のための拠り所となっていたことも明らかになった。
