项目摘要

2022年度は当初の研究計画に沿いつつ、より課題を明確にし、主に３つの対象：１タイで起きた民主化運動及びタイ深南部地域の自治獲得の運動下のアート、２ミャンマークーデターをめぐる運動下の文化実践、３「沖縄問題」をめぐる同地の社会運動と文化、または「アジア」の民主化運動との関係性に関して、調査を中心に研究を進めた。具体的に１ではタイでの短期的な現地調査・参与観察を行い（2022年10月）、深南部の政治・社会的構造と沖縄の政治・社会的構造を比較した先行研究の整理を行いつつ、現地のアーティストへのヒアリングや芸術祭の視察、深南部での沖縄のアートに関する事例紹介等の活動として関与しながら調査を進めた。２では、自身がキュレーターとしてミャンマーのアーティストによる同主題の展覧会を開催（2022年5月）し、さらにはミャンマー現地でクーデターに呼応する目的で制作された芸術作品や映像作品を調査・分析しながら日本国内でそれらを紹介するプロジェクトに携わり、動向の把握や考察を進めた。３では沖縄での現地調査・参与観察を行い（2023年1月）、資料調査やアーティストへのヒアリングを行なった。また、アジアと文化芸術の最新の動向を把握するために愛知県で開催されている国際芸術祭の視察（2022年8月）、福岡県では在日ミャンマー人のコミュニティの視察や専門機関においてアジア美術の蓄積に関する文献調査（2022年8月）に取り組んだ。なお研究成果の発表・発信として、国際学会１回の個人発表に参加、国内学会１回の個人発表に参加し、論文（査読有）１本を投稿した。
