当該年度の主な研究成果は以下の通りである。1. Alexandrov空間の崩壊現象の研究：崩壊するAlexandrov空間のEuler標数を極限空間の特異点集合（extremal subset）のEuler標数を用いて記述することに成功した。これは2018年に発表されたSemyon Alesker氏による予想の一部である。一般の崩壊空間の大域位相構造の記述はこれまでなかったため、大きな進展をもたらしたと言える。2. 曲率の上界をもつ空間の研究：Alexandrov空間の双対としての観点から、曲率の上界をもつ測地的完備空間（GCBA空間）にextremal subsetの概念を導入し、その構造的性質を調べた。特に、一定の条件の下でこのような距離的特異点集合が位相的特異点集合と一致することを示した。3. Alexandrov空間の非崩壊収束の研究：非崩壊Alexandrov空間は崩壊するものに比べ扱いやすいが、Lipschitz安定性など未解決のままの問題もある。山口孝男氏と三石史人氏との共同研究で、両氏の以前の結果であるLipschitzホモトピー収束定理を発展させ、その定量版を得た。研究発表については、特に1, 2に関しフィールズ研究所における国際学会で講演を行った。また前年度までに学術誌に投稿していた関連論文が相次いで掲載され、そのうち一つをオープンアクセスにした。

When the main research results of the year are the following: 1. A Study of Collapse Phenomenon in Alexandrov Space: Euler Scale of Collapse Space and Extreme Subset of Limit Space The 2018 edition of Semyon Alesker's book was published in 2018. A Study on the Upper Bound of Curvature: A Geodesic Complete Space (GCBA Space) with the Concept of Extreme Subset In particular, under certain conditions, the set of unique points of the distance is consistent with the set of unique points of the phase. 3. A Study of Non-collapse Problems in Alexandrov Spaces: Comparison of Non-collapse Problems in Alexandrov Spaces with Lipschitz Stability Problems A joint study by Takao Yamaguchi and Ishihito Miki has been carried out to develop Lipschitz's bundle theorem and to obtain a quantitative version.
